To schedule any of the services, please call the Church Office at 215.235.1394.
Baby Dedications take place the 2nd Sunday of every month. Parents should schedule at least a week in advance. At the time of scheduling you can choose one of our three services: 7:45am, 9:30am, or 11:30am.
Participating in a baby dedication signifies that you are giving your child to God. In the presence of the Pastor and congregation, you are recognizing that he or she belongs to God and has been born to serve Him and experience His love. You are committing to raise your child in a Christian home, to be a Christ-like example to him or her, to serve and worship with your child, and to lead them according to God’s Word.
Baptisms take place the 4th Wednesday of every month during Wednesday Night Worship. Baptism Candidates should come no later than 8pm and wait for instruction from Pastor Lusk during service. Candidates should bring clothing to wear under their Baptism robe. Caps to protect the hair, socks, and Baptism robes are provided.
Baptism is for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ. We baptize by immersion because it is the original significance of the word and it best symbolizes our death and resurrection in Christ.
We want to stand with our members and their families when they experience the loss of a loved one. We are honored to serve members through prayer and visitation to support them as they grieve. The church is available for Homegoing Services and Repasts for active members.
Pastor Lusk and any ministerial staff that he designates are available to give biblical counsel to individuals, married couples, and families. If you need support beyond our expertise, we will help you to find the appropriate services.
The uniting of two to become one is a joyous occasion. Members that are active and want to have their wedding at GE or want Pastor Lusk (or a minister that he designates) to perform their wedding ceremony should contact the Church Office to verify that their preferred date is available and to schedule Pre-Marital Counseling. Couples must complete Pre-Marital Counseling before the wedding is takes place.
